Professional Rescuer CPR, Third
Edition
Medical /
Dental Professionals - EMS - Lifeguards - Clinics
Adult, Child and Infant CPR for the
Healthcare Professional and Lifeguard. Includes two person CPR, and special
procedures used by the professional rescuer (suctioning, stoma, Sellick
maneuver, etc.) This course is nationally accepted and meets national standards
for Professional CPR. Accepted by State EMS and the National Registry of
EMTs for con-ed credits.

AED Provider
AEDs are easy to use, however,
initial and regular training is part of the regimen to ensure confidence
and readiness of the responders who may be called upon to use the device.
Training is part of the requirement for those who own an AED, and provides
your responders with protection under the Good Samaritan Act in your state,
or the Federal Cardiac Arrest Survival Act. GETS will train you on the
model of AED you have chosen, NOT a generic model. Course may be used by
EMS providers as continuing education in the use of AEDs.
COURSE TIME: 2 to 3 HOURS COMPLETE!
COURSE COMPLETION CARD: Valid for TWO (2) Years (some states require
ANNUAL training)

CPR and First Aid
Training
(Meets OSHA Requirements)
Coverage of the 2005 CPR & ECC Guidelines and includes
adult CPR and choking, bleeding control, bandaging, splinting, trauma &
medical emergencies (concentrating on specifics for your facility), shock,
burn care, safety, accessing 9-1-1. Also includes introduction to AEDs.
Trains the first aid provider what to do until EMS arrives. Includes pediatrics
where required. For the layperson who may be required to have first aid
for their employment, mandated by state or federal law, or who would like
to learn a lifesaving skill. This course is nationally accepted and meets
OSHA requirements.
COURSE TIME: 2-6 HOURS TO COMPLETE! (First Aid - Combined
with Adult CPR: Four - Six Hours; depending on class size)
COURSE COMPLETION CARD: Valid for TWO (2) Years for CPR
and THREE (3) Years for First Aid.

Bloodborne Pathogens
OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Regulation (1910.1030) requires
ALL employees who have occupational exposure to blood or other potentially
infectious materials to have training initially, and annually thereafter.
