“Where You Live” is a weekly half-hour program hosted by Maranda.  Each week’s show features a combination of information, inspiration and insights for West Michigan parents.  The show is taped in communities throughout West Michigan and is about real family life.  ”Where You Live” looks at issues impacting families and explores local angles on a wide variety of topics ranging from potty training to puberty and fitness to family fun.

Maranda joined WOOD TV8, WOTV 4 and WXSP TV in January of 2001 as Children and Family Services Manager. Maranda oversees the development of station projects on-air, online and in our community that target kids and families.

Jake the Fire Dog was featured on WISH TV 8 in a special segment called Eye on Kids during the Fire Department Instructors Conference on April 22nd, 2009 in Indianapolis Indiana.

We continue to work together with our community partner WCVB - Channel 5 to distribute fire & life safety information including Juvenile Firesetter Intervention throughout northeastern Massachusetts. We appreciate the opportunity to be a Commonwealth 5 supported charity. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
